As medical centers across the United States work to increase health care value, cross-institutional collaboration can efficiently drive large-scale improvements. To facilitate such advancement, medical providers are invited to participate in the 2019 Architecture of High Value Health Care National Conference, sponsored by the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Office of CME. Value-based quality improvement, research or educational curriculum abstracts can be submitted for consideration as podium or poster presentations.
The conference will be held November 15-17, 2019 at the Baltimore Convention Center. Abstract submission deadline is April 8, 2019.
The mission of the HVPAA conference is to broadly advance quality improvement initiatives that have safely improved health care value, investigate outcomes to ensure that practice refinement maintains or improves diagnostic and therapeutic efficacy, and identify effective methodologies to improve the value of care providers deliver.
The Future Leaders Program (FLP) is designed to recognize up to 50 high potential physicians-in-training committed to high value practice and advance their understanding of how to lead value-related quality improvement, with carefully selected didactics, leadership development and direct mentoring from 6 faculty champions who represent academic medical centers leading high value care.
Residents and fellows may apply to participate in this free year-long professional development curriculum. Applications are due May 1, 2019 and acceptance notifications will be sent June 15, 2019. More information is available at www.hvpaa.org/future-leaders/.
